Philip Sahagun

Beginning his martial arts training at an early age, Philip is an accomplished martial arts champion in both forms and fighting. With an extensive background in Kenpo Karate, Kickboxing, Wushu and Shaolin Kung Fu, Philip is a 7-time National Level Weapons Champion a 3-Time International Level Grand Champion, and an artist with Cirque Du Soleil.
Philip has been a semi-finalist on America’s Got Talent and a contestant on two of China’s top-rated reality competitions, Kung Fu Star and Jackie Chan’s Disciple. In 2008 & 2009, he toured as a martial arts ‘Ninja’ performer for Tina Turner’s 50th Anniversary World Tour and represented America twice during the World Traditional Wushu Festival in China where he won both gold and silver for the US Team. In 2010 he founded the group "Kung Fu Heroes" an internationally renowned martial arts team, whose mission is to unite individuals seeking to become "Heroes" and positive role models in local and worldwide communities.

Philip has trained in America and China, he has travelled the world extensively and leads international seminars and workshops on the martial arts. Philip moved to Las Vegas in 2014 where he currently resides performing in Cirque Du Soleil’s hit show Zumanity at the New York New York Hotel and Casino.
