Japan Action Film Camp with Japan Action Guild
Train in the Art of Action Filmmaking with some of Japan's most celebrated action directors and members of the Japan Action Guild, including some of the Top Action Directors from Japan. Immerse yourself in rich martial arts traditions while mastering camera-ready techniques, stunt work, and cinematic fight choreography. Gain invaluable insights into blending storytelling with action to craft unforgettable on-screen moments.
This camp is perfect for aspiring stunt performers, filmmakers, and action designers eager to elevate their skills and learn from true masters of their craft.

ABOUT APPLYING
1. Make sure you are 18 and up with a Valid Passport!
2. Fill out our application completely with a Demo Reel / Resume showcasing your skills.
3. If you are accepted, we will send you welcome letter and link for online payment.
4. Send a headshot picture, digital waiver and photo copy of your valid passport.
5. Get a flight landing in Japan's Tokyo International Airport Haneda Airport (HND) on arrival day.
6. Send us a copy of your itinerar so we can keep track of athlete arrival and departure.
That's it, we will see you in Japan!
In order to secure your spot, your Initial deposit must be received within 72 hours of your acceptance email. Spaces to this event are limited. The remainder of your camp balance must be paid within 90 days of your camps start date or your spot will be passed on to the next person on our waiting list.
TRAVEL & PACKAGES
Recommended Arrival and Departure Airport: Tokyo International Airport Haneda Airport (HND)
On our arrival date, check into your hotel conveniently located at the Haneda International Airport (HND) The following day head to our training site in Odawara and let the adventure begin.
On departure day, participants of the Action Film Camp will be provided a bus from the hotel to Tokyo International Haneda Airport (HND) at 8:00 AM. Please note that arrival times at the airport may vary due to local traffic. If you plan to extend your stay, please notify us in advance.

What will we be eating?
A hotel breakfast of fresh fruit, hot items and local dishes will be included. Lunch and Dinner is not included, however, you will have time to dine outside and immerse yourself in the rich culture of Japanese cuisine.
Can we take pictures?
Due to privacy reasons and to keep the focus on training, there should be no pictures taken and no filming unless directed by K-STAR Camp or JAG Staff. However you can rest assured that everyone will be given a chance for group and personal photos when directed.
How will we be getting from the hotel to our training location?
Our participants will gather in our hotel lobby and walk to our training location which is less than 10 minutes away from our Camp's hotel.
Who will attend the Camp?
This camp features leading Action Directors and Stunt Performers from the Japan Action Guild. Participants of this event will have the opportunity to learn from members esteemed Instructors who have contributed to some Japan's most iconic projects.
